Doesn't look bad, the only downside is that colours are linked to gobo's which gives you less variation/control over a lightshow but other than that for the price it does'nt look bad

Not saying there's anything wrong with that but if you mix and match some lights between brands you normally end up with some odd-looking gobo effects when you select the same colour on sever fixtures with different gobo's (i made that sound pretty confusing). What I mean is that you'll often end up with the same colour but with mixed gobo,s and sometimes it looks odd. It does'nt really matter if your using lights that are all the same.

Luckily my spotknights and shiva's have some similar gobo's and the spotknights colour match the shiva's fairly well so I can get away with it but if the colour/gobo was fixed on one of the lights then i'd strugle to get it to look good.

Well, the biggest difference is that DMX lights are fully controllable, meaning that you've got full control of pan/tilt movement and you've got control of colour/gobo. This means rather than sticking to simple routines you can customise your lighting to the style of music you're playing. If you want the lights to move in circular patters or figure 8's then just program them to do that. If you want sweeping strobe sequences then just program them.

All the DMX is just a method of control, it was never really intended to drive intelligent lighting it was originally designed for dimmer control but it's outgrown it's intended application hugely, have you read my little DMX guide yet Kullz, it sort of explains the basics on what DMX is and how it works, it's applications and why it's becoming extremely popular. It's stickied in the top of the lighting forum.
