HELP! I accidently ordered the wrong Gator Arm. Help me mod?

I'd say he's right and your wrong. However, I don't think that means it can't be fitted with something else. Home depot usually sells those L and U shaped brackets for fencing, doors, etc. But you might have do some drilling into the base of the Gator to give it some more stability. That one hole isn't going to do much good for stability.
