Looks like Radionomy.com just launched its newest initiative to allow station producers to monetize their stations. Check out this press release from the CEO of Radionomy:
Letter from the CEO: outpayment to radioproducers

Dear Producers,

We have decided to launch a Beta outpayment program for producers who have listeners in two specific countries: France and the United States.

This Beta program is a test and will be confirmed once we have analyzed all of the data.

After many internal debates and the modelization of various methods, we opted for an outpayment plan that has a set of clear objectives.

We will pay a fixed amount for each hour of streamed content in France and the United States regardless of whether this hour contains advertisements and the rate of filling.

However, your radio station will have to reach a certain level of hours per month to enter the outpayment program.

Indeed, this formula allows radio station producers to plan a clear budget for their activity that is independent of our business model.

Despite the risk Radionomy is taking with potential loss-making activity, we are convinced that the long term outcome will prove beneficial for station producers and Radionomy alike. The basic project, which is to create new audience poles with station producers who can professionalize their activity, will be a reality tomorrow.

The terms are as follows:

Number of hours streamed per month in France to qualify for the retrocession: 25,000 hours

Outpayment: 1.7 € per 1000 hours

Number of hours streamed per month in the United States to qualify for the retrocession:50,000 hours

Payouts: $ 2.2 per 1000 hours

The details can be found in the producers pact.

See you soon.

Alexandre Saboundjian, Radionomy's CEO.
