can only run for 15 min??

i purchased the vertigo today and there was a note in there that stated you should only use it for 15 min at a time. is this true?

whats the max i should use it?

That is the "Duty Cycle" ie: if you run it for more thann 15 minutes it may 1. melt 2. burn out 3. stop working

A Duty Cycle call's for the unit to be on 15 min's, And off 15 min's.

You know, That light is just like the Chauvet Mushroom. Which their's has a duty cycle too, But they also have a DMX Mushroom, Which is sliver.
In turn this does the same effect's as both of the other's, Just NO duty cyle, Inturn letting you have the unit on all night.

And also I believe It's the same price, Been awhile from the time I got mine.

Normally the duty cycle is equal to the rest time, your best bet is to enquire with the manufacturer about this, e-mail them and if they don't answer within a couple of days just keep e-mailing them.

Your best bet is to steer clear of duty-cycle lighting and I always specify this when buying, as it's quite common for a dealer to say 'no duty cycle' and upon unpacking it you find there is, in which case as you specified you wanted sometyhing with no duty-cycle when ordering at least you can take it back for that reason :)

Not the Mushroom, There is two of them, You want the Chauvet DMX Mushroom.

Which is sliver.

If you just get their black mushroom, Your going to have a duty cycle again, And I believe the unit is 80 - 90$, But not for shure.

i got the martin mania. its not as active as the vertigo but it works all nite long.
