After its release, the Xone: DB4 changed the game in the way we look at mixers. Today, the Xone: DB2 gives you the same control with a little less, and a little more. The only real big difference is the effecting modules. You have two instead of four. But the company expanded the mixers customization abilities. This means that not only do you have full mixing control with state of the art effectors, you also have control over the mixer itself. The Xone: DB2 gives you total control of all its onboard features including the built in sound card. With the addition of the Xone:K2 (Check out or video on the Xone:K2 for more information) they give you the ability to link external control devices for deck control while using the Xone: DB2 for mixing control and more.

I know right, i should also add that there will be a firmware update for the Xone: DB4 to give it some of the same features developed for the Xone: DB2

I had a mess around with it last year at BPM and it is a fantastic mixer, but like the DJM700 it lacks that little bit compared to it's older brother (DB4 or DJM800 in my comparison).

I just felt there was something missing. But all round a fantastic mixer!

You know if you whored yourself out to 32 women at 50 bucks a piece you would be able to afford it :D

I just wish this would bring down the price of a xone 92!

Well, in The Netherlands they already did; the Xone:92 is now on sale for € 1.199 and the DB2 is € 1.275, so just a difference of € 76 = $ 100!

I am looking at getting a DJM900 Nexus after holidays, however after seeing the DB2 and DB4 my thoughts (and wallet) are wondering towards them....
