So excited!!!!!!!

Well I have been cotemplating a new mixer for awhile now. Was originally gonna get the Rane TTM-56s and keep traktor. But, then I went to NAMM and played on the new 61 and 62. I couldnt really justify owning a 62 since I like simplicity and alot of the features would go unused.

So...I just put my order in for a new Rane TTM-61:banana:, and it should be here in a couple days. Got a pretty good price on it and needless to say I'm freakin excited. Its my first "new" mixer and technacally the first mixer that I actually will own. Been barrowing mixers forever now lol.

So yep just wanted to share this tidbit with everyone, and I'll post a review once I get it because it seems not a lot of people are getting the 61, because I know there are some interested in it that cant find any reviews on it.

Ya man the 62 is a sweet mixer, but like i said I would never use half the features that it provides.

But, yep i think Rane did a hell of a job, cant wait to start cuttin on a real crossfader!

Congratulations on the purchase! I'm waiting for my new 62 to arrive as well! Feel's great to make the purchase, seems like everyone is making it RANE!

All puns aside, I'm sure you'll love the 61! Let us know what you're opinion of SSL is once you get the mixer. I'm seeing alot of Serato guys move to Traktor, but I'm also seeing alot of Traktor guys move to Serato.

I was originally a serato guy who jumped ship 6 months ago. I didnt like traktor, there is just to much for me to deal with. I miss the simplicity of serato and can't wait to get back on it.

How do you like those TTX's?

There good tables, besides having to replace the ic chip since there the original ttx1 models and they overheat there fine. The newer models fixed that issue.

But I still want a pair of mk5's, because will the the ttx's last the next 10-15 years? Probably not, but a pair of techs will. Plus there what I learned on so I still have a connection with them.
