Hey all, I have a Xone 3D.

Recently, I have very loud noise coming through the headphones and I've deduced it is somehow related to the MIDI knobs on the xone. The noise is like a fast buzzing sound, and does seem to correlated to the midi controllers, when moving them you hear the noise. I have unplugged everything from the xone, and even tried a different wall outlet (I have everything plugged into a Furman Voltage Regulator, and my power is clean, but I tried everything).

What I have found is that if all the midi pods at the top are all turned to the right, and all the sliders are pushed up, the noise goes away. As soon as one is moved a little, an incredible amount of noise is injected into the headphones. If the pods are moved to the left and the sliders are all down, the noise goes away.

Thoughts? It's really bad, and there should be no feedback injected into headphone jacks (I also tried different headphones).

thanks

Sounds like a grounding problem. You'll need to have it serviced.

I was thinking it's a ground problem, but assumed it would be audible when output to speakers, which is not the case. There is also no problems with the channels, but I did also notice today that the filter bleeds into the headphones even when it's not selected. Meaning, no filter channel is selected, and the channel volume is at zero, but when playing with the filter knobs, you can hear it in the headphones.

Kinda bummed, this will probably run a few hundred bucks to fix.

Have you tried this:

Otherwise I'll echo on the grounding problem. I may be wrong but you may be probably looking at changing this:
