I was originally intending on buying Chauvet 64 Par LED Lights, but my partner came back with Venue 64 ThinPar LED lights. Im using the for a variety of lighting including wash and uplighting.

For my more experienced mobile dj's. Which light would you rather have? Should I return them the Venue's for the Chauvet's?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

For warranty purposes, Venue lighting in my eyes doesn't exist as a real company. They're a Chinese company that rebranded Chauvet manufactured lights and skimped on quality control. Go with the Chauvets.

I would go with the Chauvet SlimPars over the Venue's.

However, the Blizzard Pucks top both of them, and I highly recommend you look into them.

EDIT: There is someone selling Blizzard PUCK 3's on the FB DJ Classified group for $95 each:

With uplighting as a planned usage, you might want to consider a battery operated fixture. For only a bit more than the Puck RGBAW that was linked to you can get the Puck RGBA Unplugged. Spend a few dollars more now and save thousands of hours of labor in the future.
