i'm not even sure anymore. i do them exclusively for my crew and occasionally for friends. i generally shy away from working with people who i can't say "that's a fucking stupid idea" to. probably in the vicinity of $100-200 depending on how complex/baller they wanted it and how many size iterations they needed (poster, flyer, FB, FB event page banner, website, ticket website, twitter, etc, etc).

i love that comic.

luckily i don't do graphic design to pay the bills. it's just extra cash for beer and records. i get to make whatever image i want for them most part and i have nothing to lose by standing up for what i think is aesthetically right. at my real job i get client notes indirectly so i have a built in filter between me making fun of the client and their stupid ideas and the client's ears.
