How do you find this stuff?
Why don't you tell us what you want to spend on a laser and I think we can make some good suggestions.

well, as close to nothing as possible, haha. i'm 16 so income is close to nothing these days. on ebay however there is a seller with the name something like "chinese-departmentstore" or something that sells lasers from 20mw - 50mw at Great prices compared to in the states, oh yeah they're also illegal to own in the usa without a permit though... but who would know? :badger:

You would be suprised, I have a 150mW one and I have all the variances and all that stuff, if you get caught the fine is 30K-300K
I ordered a laser from that guy on ebay, I will post if it shows up, they are actually in austrailia.

How much is a permit for something like that?

0$ You just have to file about 40 pages of paperwork for each show you are going to use it for. 30-45 days in advance. :banghead:

Also, the lasers from the china guy are not certified by the CDRH so you can't get a variance here without getting it tested to make sure it is compliant.

China guy gave me a tracking number for the laser today,
problem: no way to track it
So in 7-10 days I will revisit this thread hopefully insane with pictures of a 140mW laser...
