I have been using my HD25 II's for just under two years now but i noticed today that there is a slight split just away from the ear pad on the plastic cup. It is just a small split but enough that will probably grow even though it's small just now but after looking on the Sennheiser web page, Amazon, eBay and Google etc i can't seem to find just the outer cup..

The only thing i can find is this:

http://spares.sennheiser.co.uk/pro-audio-headphones/hd-25-originals-adidas/hd25-dynamic-70-ohm-driver-capsule-replaces-040178.html

Now if i have to buy the whole lot i will buy it but my question is, does anyone know where i can buy just the outer case? That's all i need..

EDIT: After researching i don't think it is actually possible.. Oh well.

There's also this place, I think they're a little cheaper:

http://www.sennheiserspares.com/

Why isn't it possible?

Which reminds me, I need some new pads for mine

JFunk (on these forums) might be able to help. I think he had a load of HD25 parts ... I think!

His website: http://www.customcans.co.uk/

Thanks for the site man! Parts do look slightly cheaper. But i didn't know the drivers etc for the cups were what looks sealed inside and i just wanted the outer shell..

If the split is on the pad then it is easy enough to replace - if the split is on the earcup it self - they are quite expensive to replace. You could use epoxy to cover it and stop it from splitting more or you could buy a used pair of HD25sp or HD25ba and swap the plastic bits
