saw this guy using it i had no idea what it was thought it was a djm 800 but after seeing the pics doesnt seem like it

Just get there early and get a feel for it. It's a mixer...so you shouldn't need any tricks.

lol when i saw it in person i glanced at it i didnt go up to it and inspect the damn thing as the guys using it...when i saw the pics after i realized it wasnt and i asked, whats the big deal?

Some people think it makes them better to assume that everyone's as into get as they are. I recognized it from the photo too, but Pioneers are so damn common, I kind of just assume that everyone has one all the time.
Props on playing somewhere with a real mixer.

Pioneer makes more than the 600-900 range guy. really.

I guess one thing to note whether its the rack mount Pioneer or Rane, neither of them appear to have any filters.

yeah there was no filter, and they had put in rotary knobs on it so that was new for me too, but i got the hang of it after the first 2 or 3 songs. overall a good learning experience
