Hey guys, so I'm just doing some spring cleaning/prep for the new DJ season over here in LI. The weather was nice so I headed into the shop to do some tinkering, and out came this beauty. Now I just gotta order my XLR's to go next to the C13 IEC socket on the back to really neaten up and cut down setup time. ;)

So far:
1x IEC socket
2x 12v red LED strips (autozone/amazon/eBay/everywhere has them)
1x Transformer/Wall-wart for the LED strips (12v 200ma)
1x Power strip
Assorted wirelooming (great for neatening up cables, but a PITA to run thick wire through initially)
Assorted heatshrink
Assorted wirenuts
14AWG cable

Later on:
2x Male XLR jacks

Possible:
2x RCA stereo jacks for external hookups with other computers/iPads/outside sources
1x XLR Male jack for keeping my mic system external when I'm using 2 laptops on the sliding top

Without anymore interruption, the end result:

That's really cool man! I love it! Maybe I can do something like that with my S4 case. It looks to be pretty much the same design.

Should be, I used 12" LED strips next to each other, you might need 8" ones. As for the IEC, I had *just* enough room without cutting/compromising the metal trim. I was able to fit it right in the last picture in between the two metal strips.

Thanks for the compliments contra. :)

I've used those strips for number of things, works very well haven't had any reliability issues in 3+ years with them.

They're great, especially with the 3M tape they come with.
