Alright, recently i read this article on Lifehacker about good, cheap headphones by Monoprice! The article claims that the ones they reviewed (9927/9960/9963) were "A steal at $7, with quality you'd expect from $20 and $30 models".

Also, Feedback from anyone? I haven't personally tried these, but they certainly sound good!

By "enhanced bass" do they mean bass boosted? because if so

Not sure about the quality for a gigging DJ, maybe for chilling at the house though.

I use Monoprice for cables. They have excellent prices for IEC power cables, black electric extension cords, etc.

I have no clue, I personally don't own any of their headphones, as i live in the UK. But if the DJ Headphones is pretty good i may consider buying a pair. The fact that cord detaches is great in headphones! It means that rather than fork out for a new pair of headphones if your cord breaks, you just pay for a new cord. And i'm sure everyone has a spare 3.5mm cable lying around to check if it's a cable problem or headphones.

I wouldn't even consider using cheap headphones for gigging! But it would be brilliant for a bedroom DJ who wants to hear more of the song rather than a constant rumbling noise!
