Just finished modding up my DDJ SX case.

Put powercon for inputs as well as external XLRs. I cut out a section underneath the unit so I can hide all the wiring, wireless Mic unit, power cables, computer cables etc...Even have 4 leftover plugs left that will remain exposed so I can plug in speakers or anything else I may need.

I thought I fucked up the female powercon connector. I had everything soldered in nice and when I was screwing into the case the blue part started to seperate from the black "housing" a big. I stopped, pushed it back in and screwed it in. Everything powers up fine with no issues so I think I'm good!

I forgot to take a pic of the cutout I made. I cleaned it up nice with matching felt. Looks like it came that way from the factory. I will post pics tonight of under the unit.

not bad, but why use a Neautric AC3 for power when you could have gone with something a little more practical and easy to find like a locking IEC(D-Plug)? If you forget your power cable somewhere or lose it between gigs, you're sort of SOL.

Nice idea! I'm still waiting on my Gator Case to arrive. Might look at doing something similar to what you've done.

Only reason I used that is to lock the power cord in, no chance in it coming loose during a set.
I have absolutely no worries of ever forgetting or losing the cord. The way I pack up my gear (all mobile gigs), I would never "not" have it.

I do the same with the locking nuetrik, in my case the nuetrik goes to a normal female plug end which then I plug my power strip in to so if I ever do forget the cable, i can run a normal cord right into behind my deck and power it up for that one event
