omg i hate you. im very jealous. i have been wanting one of these BADLY for a year now. i get my yearly bonus next month and there are several things i want to pay off, but i want this mixer so badly. the wife would probably kick my ass if i bought the mixer and fluffed off the bills. :argh:

the newest firmware allows you to flip the effects wet / dry and upfaders around and make it a rotary mixer. have you tried that out yet? thoughts?

I actually just came across that yesterday while playing around in the settings. I like it alot, clears up finger room near the expression knob. Very nice feature.

And here you go Manu, she looks just as good as all the other expensive whores. No need to go get your reading glasses.

Its actually quite easy to pick up.. Everything is pretty much where you would expect it to be. Eq's then looper, then effects. Filters on each side. Bam, you now know how to mix on a DB4..

I ahve been waiting on somebody to comment how is like mixing the other two eq modes, how do you find them?

I find them quite useful.. Right now I'm running it with 2 decks spread over the 4 channels one channel in filter mode and the other in ISP. I have found I like mixing this way as I can double effects and adjust to my liking.. It's a great piece of kit. Can't rave enough about it.

That's an awesome feature. Too bad more mixers don't have that option.

Congrats moon, I'm pretty jealous myself

It's incredible, I'm really glad they implemented it. I sent the idea to A&H a few months ago as a support ticket and words can't describe how happy I was when I saw it in the beta firmware release. It works exactly as you would expect and they are the same knobs at the 92R so it feel right.

Issolator EQ mode is pretty cool, it works how you would expect although I associate issolators with big fat knobs. I've been getting used to the filter EQ mode but it is pretty cool, it's just a little different and hard to get used to but it is pretty powerful and nice you can still use the Xone filters on top of the filter EQ.

Lol, I'll get right on that..

Man I never knew it would be this nice to have individual loopers per channel.. I have noticed the FX are definetly more EDM friendly. I can't say enough good things about this mixer. If you're in the market and can save up the cash for one, do it, you won't be disappointed!!

I just got a DJM-900 because I wanted something similar to an 800 so I would know what to do at a club. Somewhere down the line I would want to get a DB4, but it looks so complicated!

It has a built in Traktor soundcard right? How do you like it?

Its not complicated at all. At least not for basic mixing.
At first I thought the layout was way too cluttered, but actually its PERFECT. Mastering the effects, will take some playing around.

The soundcard is great, I dont touch my audio8 anymore (sold my audio10 for the build-in soundcard and got the audio8 for scratch)
