Calling Out: Classic House (93-97) Battle

So I've never actually done a battle before, but I'll do my best to set this up correctly.

I've been really digging stuff from 93'-97' along the lines of Keri Chandler, Cajmere, Masters at Work, Todd Terry, etc. I'd be down to set that date range as the rule, but I know there's been a bit of a revival of that sound lately, so I guess I'd accept any modern tracks as well.

I'd love to take anyone on an all-vinyl challenge, but realize that may not be feasible for some people, so I guess I'll just test the waters. The only hard limit I'd put on technology is no auto-sync.

Let's say 40 minutes tops, 4 DJs max? Anyone down?

I'll be using all vinyl but as long as no one syncs it doesn't matter to me what medium others use.
I'm leaving for Vegas on Friday but should be able to have something done by then.

However, I wish the classic tracks from the 80's were part of the battle as well. The 80's era of House music is what got me hooked.

In my mind, anything from the 80s is "Old Skool" as opposed to classic, but that's a super subjective qualifier. I've just really been digging that 93-97 sound.

Sorry fellas, thought I had followed up on this. Let's say by next month, submit an MP3 of a 30-40 minute mix, and let's shoot for deep or underground house around 90-97. I say if you have a track or 2 outside of those guidelines, fine by me as long as the bulk of it fits those parameters. No sync, vinyl encouraged. Sound good?
