OK Here's the deal. My mobile set up consists of two S115V's, passive, and one JBL PRX618S-XLF, active. Currently, I have one master output (1/4") on my mixer going to my sub and the other going to the QSC GX5 amp, which is utilizing the crossover function. The sub is also crossed over internally. My problem is that I want to add monitors, but I don't have any outputs left on my mixer. My question is this: Can I run one output to the subwoofer, then utilize the subwoofer's output to send the signal to my GX5 which runs the tops and use the other output for a pair of Rokits?

What mixer are you running?
You should run it like this:

Channel A from mixer into sub, then hi-pass to your PRX cab, then daisy chain to the monitors via a XLR splitter. Then, run channel B from your mixer to the amp with an XLR splitter to cover both channels again, hi-pass filter, then out to the cabs.

Hope this wasn't too complex.

Turn to page 21 of your JBL owners manual & you'll find your answer http://www.jblpro.com/catalog/support/getfile.aspx?doctype=3&docid=1672

You could even come in on the QSC 1/4 inputs to send the signal to the amp then daisy chain out through the XLR to the JBL sub inputs as shown on page 6 of the QSC GX owners manual. http://media.qscaudio.com/pdfs/manuals/GX_Series_User_Manual_revD.pdf

What mixer are you using, does it have an aux out, booth out or record out? As you can see there's many ways to go about this.

Easiest solution is to engage the xover on the sub and run the outputs to your GX5 which would then feed your Yamahas. At the mixer, employ a y splitter to send to your sub on the one hand and your monitors on the other. This will give your monitors full range and your Yamahas the proper filtered signal to work best with the subwoofer.

It's looking like my best option will be to run 1/4" outs to the subwoofer, turn on the HPF and run the outputs from the subwoofer to the QSC amp and out to my tops. My monitors can be powered by the set of RCA outs on the mixer. Correct me if this won't work, please.

It's a Stanton m.207. It has a pair of 1/4" and RCA outs and a RCA record out.

Okay, so you've got LR outputs? Get a pair of 1/4" to XLR adaptor cables and then go out of your mice into the sub and engage the built in x-over. Then take the L output from the sub to your L top and same for the right output to the right top

Tops are Passive, that's why I wasn't sure what to do. Taking the outputs to the amp inputs will work just the same, correct?
