....nor am I well known or a Grammy-winner.
My name's Adrian, tagged "xplodR" (that's 'exploder'), and I'm an amateur DJ from Pennsylvania.
I started mixing electo music about 6 months ago and I think I'm pretty good.
Not as good as most, but at least I can make something sound okay.
I'm not sure what goes on here, so I'll be playing most of my posts and stuff by ear.
I guess I should tell you something about my DJ-ing or something..?
I started mixing after getting real into David Guetta, Tiesto, Deadmau5, Daft Punk (by far my favorite), and The Chemical Brothers.
After about three months using the free trial of VirtualDJ and getting pretty good, I bought a Gemini CTRL-1, a Novation Launchpad, and started using Ableton/FL Studio too.
A friend ended up buying me Traktor Pro a month ago, so I've been using that non-stop (apparently a limiter does wonders for clipping issues).
I came to DJForums to learn from, teach to, and have fun with fellow DJs and producers.
So, how's it going?
