Like Sigma says. Vinyls and CDs are worth something. MP3 are never worth anything.
But when it comes to vinyls and CDs. How do you know if that vinyl or CD has any value or not?

Well some things I know that determines the value of these are

1) something that "everybody" liked or wanted.
2) something that was manufactured in limited quanities. (I think this is a big factor, am I right)
3) both above plus being in good condition and complete.

But I think the bigger things that causes the value to go up something that a few copies were produced and more people wanted it then how many are available (popular) Am I right or am I wrong.

This goes with everything else, not just Cds and vinyls

checking the sales history on http://www.discogs.com then you can see what prices stuff has actually sold for & not just how much someone thinks its worth but it never sells & is just sitting there for sale for years. eBay buy it now listings are nine times out of ten well over priced, i think some people live in a fantasy world lol

in my experience Discogs is nine times out of ten the correct market value or just under. http://www.gemm.com is also mostly over priced
