Think it'd be cool to have a monthly master thread for forum members' top 10 charts. If there ends up being a fair bit of overlap, we could probably do an overall, cumulative top 10 at the end of the month too. Post here when you're ready to lay down your picks for February!

Note that selections do not have to be restricted to releases during the current month.

this should kinda be a genre-specific thing, no? seeing a chart section in each genre forum would be cool.

The only reason I don't think genre-specific charts/per forum kinda thing would work is that many DJs play and would potentially chart tracks from a few genres.

Just a friendly reminder too - would be nice if most people ranked their monthly picks and took note of at least the label. Again, if there seems to be some sort of overlap we could use the cumulative figures to do a top 10 charted tracks on DJF for x month.

I support different chart threads for each genre. I just made a prog/electro chart because they're my default genres... I'd love to make different charts for everything I play.
