Hey everyone, nice to be back on the forums again!!!
I'm a Detroit area DJ,I've been Djing for about 5 years, started with gemini's LOL
I currently use a pair of RCF 312a's and I'm planning on buying a sub soon, I currently rent for the largest events.
I spin Bhangra( I also play the drum that is used in most songs), Bollywood, Hip hop, Rap, Pop, Top 40, Techno, Dubstep, and some Jazz.
I also make my own mixes between genres, and I also make the non dancey songs floor packers :)

heres some bhangra and bollywood

Kidda?

That first one sounds just like the original. Did you mix it or is is just a sample of bhangra music?

Nice dude, welcome to the boards. I'm from Detroit originally, but you'll find a whole host of Detroiters on here still.

Vadhian, tuuu?
It's a mix, and a sample LOL. It's way diff then the original though. The dhol beat is a legit strong chaal(dholi term for the beat in most songs). The original Panga song has no dhol beat whatsoever LOL.
I mix my own Bhangra but that ones not mine, I put my on dhol beats and bass on the tracks, floor goes crazy everytime.
This year bhangra industry is soooo sick, last year was alright :P

Yup, you are right. There does seem to be a distinct dhol beat in your mix.

Haven't really been following the Bhangra scene that much. I suppose I should be given that I'm in Vancouver.
