The detachable cable for my Pio's is coming up on 3 years old and im surprised it lasted this long. My buddy has been threw 3 cables for his but im much easier on my gear then he is.

Im looking for a nice custom cable, with the 3.5 mini jack on one end with the Mini XLR on the other.

I checked J-Funks website but they only seem to have ear pads for it

Thanks

Buy an AKG cable. They are better made, same fitting, and a fraction of the cost. I've had an AKG cable on my HDJ2000s for the last two years, and it still looks brand new.

Good call - the AKG cable is cheaper and better than the pioneer one.
I could make you a custom one - we have made custom cables for the HDJ-2000 before but they will be around £60 as we use silver plated copper cable and pro grade jacks. To be honest though you will only get a v-small improvement in sound vs the AKG cable so that one may be better value and if you get a straight cable we could make you a cable wrap kit to match it, in any colour you want, to protect it and make it stand out a bit.

Nice! I've been looking for basically the same thing, only I would prefer one that's 1/4" on the other end so I don't need an adapter. That's a lot of dough for a headphone cord but I dig the custom colors.

The AKG cables have a unimatch jack so you can screw on your pioneer adapter to make it a 1/4"

Or if you get the straight one at £14 we do wrap kits to change the colour for about £8

Thanks guys! I appreciate the info

The AKG cable runs about $30 So I can buy 2 of them for less then a single Pioneer cable
