I have been looking for a affordable two channel mixer with effects and came across this one. I have read two reviews but have not see anyone on any other forums that have used it. Any thoughts???

Personally I think that the DJM 250 is a much better mixer for your money. Plus, filters beat the crap out of almost any other effect out there. If you plan on using a DVS, you'll get better effects out of the program.

behringer has produced and released some of the worst mixers on the market, so I wouldn't rush on that one.

VMC-004 is cheaper and better quality, though it's lacking on features.

In general, you get what you pay for…and at the same price point, more features usually means lower quality.

You catch flies with honey, not vinegar... Usually newcomers will buy a behringer, but won't do the same mistake twice.

Behringer have a well deserved bad reputation for their mixers, but they have stepped their overall game up with their PA line, they might not be anywhere close to high end but their low end PA stuff is getting alot better.

That said, I wouldent buy their NOX series until someone I trust does a positive review about it, and also some time to see if there is reliability issues.

Could you post links to the reviews you read so far?
