Inspired by architect Guilherme Torres I ve created this ladder based dj desk. Costs were less than 70 bucks (without equipment :-)

Neat idea! It looks sturdy & pretty darned sick too.

Very cool idea. My only concern is the possibility of something shifting or sliding and falling through the rungs. Maybe get a piece of thin wood or something to prevent that from happening. Also maybe a laptop stand that clamps to it so that you can still use those turntables. Awesome idea though...

If I'm absolutely honest, I think it's messy and pointless. The only good thing I see about it is that the stand itself is light and easily portable.

You could also play, you know, vinyl records and stuffs...

Yea...the cables are a bloody mess....something streamlined like that needs to have neat cables....

Neat cables are good in general.

How do you set your drink on the table? Needs a cup holder...

And clean up those wires foo!

Well I like it. I think it's innovative and I don't think the cables are that messy either.

I'd stick a piece of ply on the top though, as like others have said, it might slip through the rungs.

No question its functional... but it isn't aesthetically pleasing at all.

Although it will suck having to take his rig apart every time he needs to change a light bulb or get something out of the attic
