Recording Help!

Hey guys, I'm having some difficulty recording my mixes. My setup is as follows:
MacBook pro, Denon MC6000 attached via USB, connected to two powered studio speakers, traktor scratch pro

I can record my mix fine, however I can hear myself backscratching and such on one deck while the song is playing on the opposite deck.

Any suggestions?

Stab in the dark but mute your computer speakers maybe.

I take it you are recording internally on Traktor. Check out the cueing section and make sure your settings are right. What are your output settings within Traktor?

Yea I'm recording internally. Under the output routing tab it's the following:
Output deck a:
L: front left
R: front right

Output deck b:
L: back left
R: back right

All the rest say not connected

Is Traktor's mixer set for internal or external mode?

Then just record with traktor. It's explained in the manual.

That's the first thing I tried, but I still hear myself mixing in the background on finished mixes

I don't have Traktor installed anymore. Are you sure you're using internal mixer mode and that you're set to record the master output?
