So I'm in the works of my halloween mixtape and ran into this little problem mixing trap. My songs are 70 & 140 bpm which i know u can mix into each other because in dubstep u can and it is the same 8 count also. What is the technique for this ?

P.S. using tt's if that helps.

Haha, exactly. The standards concepts of mixing apply, just one track is twice as fast as the other - but because of that, they will still mix together fine.

If you think about it, 70 BPM tracks are still 140 BPM tracks and vice versa.....If your getting the BPM of an automated counter or something then they tend to do that. At the end of the day, you can still beatmatch them no problem, no pitch needed....Pretty much just ignore the BPM's and mix as if it were dubstep or they all said 140.

cool thanks, and yeah I usually use an automated bpm counter to bpm my tracks.

Aren't they all actually 140ish, like Dubstep? I dunno, I'm not too familiar with Trap.

Anyway, as said, 70 mixes into 140 no problem.

If you have songs with multiples of beats, like 65-130 or 70-140, you're just fine
