Painting my Techs?

So as it states I want to paint my techs. Can I use spraypaint and if I can what kind should I use?

I was going to sand it down a but then prime it first then and the color then last clearcoat it and polish of all up.

How do my plans sound?

hey i just went through the whole process......

the paint was amazing but i ended up messing something up because the platter doesn't spin right anymore....i started a thread if you have any ideas on my problem

Is there a website that tells you or shows you how and what to take apart first step by step? And what to and not to do?

they dont look that bad either. do you know if you have to remove the tonearm assembly to put them on?

I'm pretty surebyou don't have to remove it. You jsut move the tone arm to the center and it will just pop right on top of the turntable. I was considering that in the beginning but since I I was able to mid my RCA and and mod the earth wire I want more to
mess with.

I have had a lot of soldering experience because of my other hobby which is R/C. Hopefully I can disassemble and assemble my turntable just as good as all my R/C cars.
