Now i got a used Technics for 100 bucks. The only thing wrong was that the wires were cut and it was too short and the guys said that you have to wiggle the wires to get the left channel to come out.
So I bought brand new RCA wires and soldered them in and I still get the same problem. When I wiggle around the wires and find the right spot it comes out very clear but when you move it a bit then it goes away again. I tried giving the tone arm a bit of a jiggle but that doesn't help. I also switched sides to make sure it was the left channel and not the mixer.
What could the problem be?
It could possibly be the wires within the tonearm that need replacing but im not really good at determining this kind of shit so sit tight and wait for more knowledgeable to post

Loose connection inside the turntable is probably you best bet. Have a look at these tiny wee wires that go from the tonearm to the audio circuit board, they're fiddly little things and one of them might have come loose, it's easy enough to accidently disconnect one of them from the solder when poking about with a screwdriver.
Nice find! I would say its a little wire in the tonarm or the ones connecting that to the curcuitry. THe thing with used stuff is that you have no idea what the other guy's done with the TT. I have been pretty lucky myself, but I've heard bad stories.
If I were you (assuming that I don't have great technical skills, which I don't), I'd take it to some electronics guy. Try to find one of those people who's been doing this for years and won;t shaft you just cuz he's a nice guy. no big company, lol. They'll probably charge you 50 bucks (for an undiagnosed problem) and another 50 bucks for labour and parts. It still ends up a great deal for technics. I just wouldn't wanna fiddle with it and end up messing it up more, but, if the electronics guy brakes it, it should be under his guaruntee.
