Following their last roadblocked party with Paco Osuna, Layo & Bushwacka! return for a brand new session... They launch their forth LP " Rising and Falling " on Monday 22nd October and will be hosting the album launch party on the 6th October . Very special guest and hot creator, Richy Ahmed , joins the duo and the Leading Astray collective once again host the terrace joined by superfreq LA's David Scuba , whilst the loft features a Sunday West showcase...

In the six years since their previous artist album, Layo & Bushwacka! have continued to stay at the forefront of the electronic music community via their legendary ‘ Shake It! ’ parties, and a consistently impressive stream of releases via their own label ‘ Olmeto ’: notable highlights including ‘ Now Is The Time ’, ‘ Summer Gone ’, and two EP's for Richie Hawtin’s Plus 8 imprint.
Their first album was ‘ Lowlife ’ on End Recordings in 1999, followed by ‘ Night Works ’ on XL in 2002, and ‘ Feels Closer ’ on Olmeto in 2006.
Their fourth studio album ‘ Rising and Falling ’ is set to reaffirm their status as electronic music heavyweights: A selection of productions that nod to their own musical heritage, but at the same time keep them effortlessly current, mixed together to form a continuous long-player that is destined to become another milestone for house and techno community.
‘Rising & Falling’ extends the musical lineage and influential body of work from a production duo that has been a cornerstone within electronic music for the best part of two decades. Drawing on their rich tapestry of global musical influences, ‘Rising & Falling’ serves up an exciting pastiche of productions which are woven together to form a long-player that exudes the confidence of two producers still at the top of their game - you are in for a treat on Saturday 6th October!...

Richy Ahmed is at the forefront of a new breed of British DJs, who are re-defining house music taking cues from disco, techno, funk and hip-hop.
Over the last year British house music has been through a renaissance with a whole new generation of DJs and producers like Robert James, Subb-an, Russ Yallop and Maya Jane Coles quickly making names for themselves. In the midst of this surge of homegrown talent is Richy Ahmed, Hot Natured resident and part of the Hot Creations inner circle. Playing alongside some of house music’s biggest stars, Richy is regularly tipped as one to watch by the likes of Jamie Jones, Damian Lazarus, Clive Henry and Seth Troxler .
The launch of Jamie Jones and Lee Foss' Hot Creations label last year turned underground house music on its head, rapidly becoming one of the most popular new labels in dance music. As resident at their hugely successful Hot Natured parties held in London, Detroit, Barcelona, New York, LA and Miami, Richy has been at the centre of this nu-school house explosion. Smashing Ibiza an beyond this summer, expect a musical riot when he takes to the floor...

David Scuba : It all started for Scuba growing up on the East Coast in the late 1990s, where he religiously soaked up the underground electronic dance sounds emanating out of Twilo in New York City every Friday night. Over a decade later, Scuba entered the studio to develop tracks supported in the fine hands of the respected DJs Adultnapper and Mr. C , who have supported his music at the Sunday school for Degenerates party at WMC . On top of that Scuba is one of the residents of Superfreq a legendary party out of London, and partner of the Los Angeles chapter. We look forward to welcoming him on the terrace alongside the Leading Astray people...
