Hi

I'm looking for a 2(+) channel mixer for my 2 Stanton ST.150s. I want good sound and build quality without any gimmicky features I'll never use (efx, usb, etc.). I'll be mixing 100% vinyl, no scratching.

Budget: 500$

xone 22 is well liked for mixing. ttm56 while it is known to be a scratch mixer, the build quality is second to none.

^^^ my bad 56 is way out of your range. Maybe the Stanton m.207 would work, plus has some onboard effects.

I'd love to get something like the empath, but it's difficult to find someone selling used to europe. I might just go for a used ttm56 if I find someone shipping to Norway.

Also, is there at all any reason to have more than 2 channels if I'll only be mixing 2 decks?

Ecler Nuo 3 should fit your budget. its a 3 channel but that extra channel could always come in handy. Great quality and awesome sound and workflow

I've seen 56es go for $500. They tend to be around the $600 end, but doesn't mean he can't find one cheaper.

gbjerke, keep eyeing on Ebay.de, Ebay.be, Ebay.fr and Ebay.co.uk. Always ask the sellers if they would send abroad (even if they mark on the auctions that they will only do domestic shipping ).
I've bought two Empath's and both were less than 400€. TTM56S was also around 400€ few years back. HAK360's are also good option and they'll go as cheap as 250€ if you're lucky. I've scored two of them, both under 250€.

Linking an iPod/mp3 player/phone/computer to that channel with a headphone jack-to-aux cable, to play music on your DJ sound system.

I got hella lucky a while back and got an Empath rotary for $500. But that's kind of rare. But I bet you could find a TTM56 for that much, especially since the 61 and 62 just came out.

I love my vinyl and I am absolutely loving my Xone 2:02. I snagged one off here for $275 that was as new as it could be. It can be had brand new for $399. Comes with the pro x fade, great sounding and just a well built mixer. Definitely not to be confused with the Xone 22.
