Alright I gave this one some credit at first, then it had the first breakdown and my head just exploded. For some crazy reason I continued to listen and was left in sheer disgust. The open mic crowd noise, the lame cliche drops and countless other banter just ruined one of the most classic tunes in trance.
But then again its Tiesto so what do you expect. His sun has set many years ago...

highly unnecessary to remix this track...once again.
youtube comments mirror my view except maybe the last line:
The original Version is the best.
They only stuttered some parts of this track, which honestly sucks. This is amateur job.
I expected more form Tiesto.
meh. moving on.

I actually like that version, I've been using it for the past few weeks since I got it. I feel that sometimes a crowd will become hyped up when they hear a classic that has been reborn and remixed into something different. It also enables me to switch up my sets every week on the fly because I have at least 4 remixes of that song and can always spin a different take on the song. I love remixes of classics, because the scene is always changing and it's good to have a remix that is tailored to a more "current" style of "cheesy electropop trance" that I play. I think the track is actually a W&W remix of the original tiesto remix, and not by tiesto himself.

Yea the title is miss leading - its the W&W & Jonas Stenberg remix of Delerium Silience (Tiesto's in search of sunrise Remix)

I guess from an audophile standpoint it's a disgrace and the original would be heavily favored. I usually gauge tracks first by utility on the dance floor, and then also by private listening. It's a much better dance floor remix than the classic track. I wouldn't find myself listening to this and enjoying it over the original though.

I enjoyed Tiestos remix a lot. Only part of this track that I like better is the vocals (it sounds better IMO).

Possibly the worst piece of shit Ive heard in a long time, when will this bullshit stop? w&w are responsible for a lot of bad trouse tracks, I was doing so well recently with just trying to ignore and getting on with the whole Trouse thing but seriously this is just truly shit!!

I do hate the fact that W&W lost a lot of their trance style at the end of 2012 going into 2013. It really sucks because they had some great works until they started the electro trouse shit. In all honesty though, I would buy that mashup if they sold it because it's my style and I like a few of the tricks they did to the original track. The new jerseyans love their house music, and I just add the flavor of trance classics to the 128-134 scene and I'm able to keep up with the overwhelming amount of house DJs there are in the NYC metro area. Playing straight 135+ trance, at least in my area, won't get you much of anywhere. However, I'll still play the stuff I love every week on the podcast. This adagio for strings remixes is another track I would use for the floor, but wouldnt listen to at my leisure.

Meh, I hated the Tiesto's In Search of Sunrise mix of the original tune posted by the OP.
Now, Fades Sanctuary mix (as featured on Northern Exposure 3 : Expeditions), was epic...

- McDonald's side salads
- Saddam Heussein
- Starbucks
- Nokia N-Gage
- Pauly D
- Haliburton
- John Boehner
- Japanese whaling fleets
- Crystal meth
- Religious extremism
- Hyperbolic comparisons
- Beiber
- YOLO
- Hashtags
- DJ drops
- Global warming
- Seal clubbing
- Toe socks
- Cheek piercings
- Tribal tattoos
- An immortal clone of John Boehner
- Every Uwe Boll movie combined

I tuned into his ASOT 600 set live from KL this past weekend, quite possibly the worst piece of shit Ive heard in a long time, the first half of his set was properly shit, not joke if I heard it randomly not knowing who it was I would have guessed it was Guetta or Avicii, so fucking bad, the 2nd half was marginally better when he ramped upto 138-140.

I think the last album from AvB I listened to was Imagine, and that was bad. I have a double CD called "Imagine The Remixes", which makes a lot of tracks better...still not great, a few good ones, but AvB really is no longer doing good trance.

Man...so many artists i used to look up to are now just utter garbage....
AvB, Armin, Tiesto, W&W, even Markus Schulz....There all conforming to this trouse crap...Sad...I used to be able to distinguish all of these guys from one another.
Funny thing is, Tiesto said he didnt like trance anymore because it all started to sound the same...He goes on to say he wants to start making more eclectic sounding tunes...lmao Well buddy, you've now made yourself sound like every other trouse/electro producer..Good going!

I don't care for the original. I mean I love the vocal part. I think it;s one of the best acapellas I have. But I don't see the original as something I could ever fit into a set. There was about a year straight that I was playing the Neils Van Gogh & Thomas Gold remix in just about every set I played. It's probably in my all time top 10 dance tracks.
I think it would still be a good set opener or closer. It's one of the most (if not the most) recognizable vocal performances in modern dance music.
I don't like this remix though. The build up is nice but the drop is just terrible. I hate that gate effect or whatever you call it
This will always be my favourite mix of this track.

I prefer Tiesto's original remix of this track but i can see why the W&W remix would be popular with the way the current Trance scene is going.
If you were to play that track in a club around here it would go down well i reckon.

I actually don't mind the tracking treasure down remake. Molly Bancroft is one of my favorite vocalists and she definitely has the right voice to pull off that octave. Sometimes people need to hear a new remake of an old track to renew their interest in the old stuff.

Well Hadgi, I'm thinking it's like that because that's what the general public wants. A lot of producers aren't making trance for trance fans anymore, they're just making music for dummies that'll be on to the next 'popular' thing in a couple months. IMO it's just selling out.
