I'm relatively new to mixing, and after buying a controller last month have been getting pretty into it. my true love music wise is slowly turning to dark dnb, and i was wondering if anyone would be able to reccommend some artists and albums that i could drop into my next few mixes. At the moment i'm really into Mefjus, Need For Mirrors, Vicious Circle etc. anything that's got that dark, night-time feel to it really. If you know of any free downloads that's be awesome too, i'm just trying to boost my track collection at the moment!

anything metalheadz really, also look into renegade hardware, ingredients records, the newer dispatch recordings stuff (octane and dlr album).. once you are on beatport just look at the "people who purchased this also purchased these".

Cheers man!
i've looked through the 'free music' stickied thread, and found some real gems, was wondering if you knew of any nice freebies too?
thanks again for the help!

MK Ultra reminds me of UFO's 'Enemy Infiltration'. One of my all-time favorites.

Technical Freaks LP Destruction Ritual was pretty brutal. I remember playing this tune in 03 and it caused a mosh pit. A security guard was knocked out trying to break it up. This is probably my fav tune off of the LP. Those amens!!!

Various - Torque - No U Turn
Ed Rush & Optical - Wormhole - Virus
Bad Company - Inside The Machine - BC Recordings
Ray Keith - Contact - UFO

I know they're not new but the quality dark sounds run true!
Ram Recs - 'Speed of Sound' & Ganja Recs - 'Still Smokin' are worth picking up just because!!!
