Tone Arm on Turntable Will Not Move!

Hey there guys im barely starting to DJ and i realized that on one of my turntables the tone are doesnt move as the songs play it stays in one spot and barely moves and then it will skip back. it sort of seems as if its stuck idk what to do ive tried researching but ive gotten nothing and its really irritating cuz ill be mixing and the needle will keep skipping back to where its stuck. i dont know if i explained it good enough if you know what i mean please help me out!

Does it do it on all parts of the record (inner & outer)? on all records? sounds like it might be a scratch on the record.

yea no matter what vinyl/record i use it does the same thing the needle barely moves and then it skips back to where its stuck
