Im curious as to how to really mak a trance demo stand out. Should i try and jam as many songs in as possible in a mix or just let them play out so the whole song is heard? What do people listen for in a good trance mix? ive done a few performances for friends and at the opening of an open gym with alot of people giving me good reviews im just stuck as to how i should make a demo for trance really pop to a club owner. sorry for the really newby question and thanks for any and all help :)

Mix it the way you would mix, if you had the job.

What Chris said. There's no point in making a demo that would not sound how your actual set(s) would sound if you got the job.

I would definitely recommend keeping the intro short. You want the club owner to get excited early into the demo, and you want to keep his/her attention so Tiesto's full-length "In search of sunrise" remix of Silence is a no-no (and other songs of such length).
