thinking bout gettin these cdj 350s cause im fed up wit my stone age cdj 800s(seriously drifty and such a pain in the ass)
so are the 350 calibrated to .2 like the 900 and the 1000+2000?

At 6% they're at .02. At the more common 10%, the pitch resolution is the same as the CDJ-800s (.05).

can you do tighter mixes on them with out using bpm lock,or are the real drifty,

BPM lock doesn't lock the BPM, its just another way of setting the BPM, instead of doing it with your pitch slider. Its completely pointless.

I've never known them to drift. Make sure you have master tempo off, otherwise the track messes with the data to quicken/lengthen it without changing the pitch, and it doesn't sound great.

They're pretty much the same. But, I've never thought the 800s were drifty.

Are you claiming this on all CDJ or just the 800 specifically?

Well the 350 for sure and the 850 from what Ive read on pioneers forums.

It's a big downgrade I you ask me. The 350s are very plastic feeling - I'd recommend the 850s if you have previously used 800s

I think the platter size alone makes it a downgrade.

The master tempo sounds awful on them. Completely kills kick transients.
