You should be able to use any standard dj headshell. Shure m44s are popular and a lot of people use ortofons (I use the concordes)

No, you don't have to buy Stanton needles. What's your price range? I can recommend something. Also are you using a dvs like Serato or Traktor?

just check to make sure, but most can fit any standard headshell+cartridge+needle set. If you find the Ortofons a bit pricey, Shure m447 is a good investment.

honestly the shure m44's may be used my most DJs but they collect dust quickly (especially if where your dj set is, it gets dusty fairly quick like my area). that's one of the only cons of them and the fact that i have to replace my stylus's a little more than usual.

Needles collecting dust is just a symptom of the problem, if the records are clean there's no dust to collect ;)

what headshells do you ahve on it now. you may be able to buy just cartridges, and not worry about a cartridge and headshell.

you don't necessarily need m447's if you're not scratching.
