I was wondering if the phono socket on the Red Waves are standard 3.5mm. I'm interested in replacing them with a third party coiled cable but want to make sure before I buy. Does anyone know?

I do not have any experience with those headphones, but it would be crazy of Numark to use anything but a standard 3.5mm socket. Could you not buy a short, cheap jack-to-jack cable just to test it? They are so common you may already have one lying around; I must have half a dozen in my house that came free with other devices.

Incidently, The conector you are referring to is commonly called a "jack". The word "phono" only applies to this kind of connector:

Hope this helps :)

I am pretty sure the red wave take the same cable as the ZOMO HD-1200 - Zomo sell curly cables separately for them in several colours
