In Ear Monitors and the TTM57?

Anyone using IEM's with a mixer that does not have a split cue function on board?

i have some in-ears on the way, how did you like this on the TTM57?

I have been using IEM's for years, when no split cue is available, I disconnect the cord in my left ear and use a standard monitor. By unplugging the cable, I still get amplitude reduction for less ear fatigue.
