That simply isn't true. It depends on the software manufacturer's policies. My friend sold me a Traktor Scratch crossgrade and another guy sold me his Ableton license.

I believe its okay, since I have seen countless sale threads for tracktor. Im also pretty sure its okay because you have to deregister your license and transfer it over to whoever bought it. When you do that your obviously left with no way of using the software unless you rebuy it.

what exactly does the right channel of the mixer do? I have the same one and have noticed it has little glitches here and there as well... love it for the midi functions, but really dissapointed with all the techincal issues

Well in the case of my mixer, the right channel's right input doesn't input anything, and the right channel of all outputs (XLR, headphone jack, rca outs) don't output anything or if it does, its at VERY VERY VERY low volumes...

Saw the ad awhile back and I thought it looked cool for such a small device. By no means would I ever play live with it, but seems like something fun to pass the time that is DJing related. I have never seen them anywhere but online, so I haven't had a chance to play with one myself :(

It's quite interesting to use... especially since it has 2 outputs... the master and the headphone output... I found those 2 things amongst on of the best things for anything as a DJ related backup! The fact that u can add effects and even tweak the gains is very good too.... However I have never really needed this as a Back up since my trustworthy Macbook is going strong!
