Question is, who starts? I can start if nobody cares? Less someone specifically wanted to start.

I'd like to finish it up with some banging Tribal and Prog, but I am flexible.

Ellissentials

Once we get Rek and G-Sep to chime back in, we'll know more about it then. :D Works for me if you finish it up with that genre Haus

g-sep
02-01-2012, 08:19 PM
we do have a room, it's called "mix submissions"

I'll take any slot, doesn't matter to me.

Ellissentials
02-01-2012, 08:24 PM
I'll start the mix either tonight or tomorrow. Any flavor I should start with? Tech / House (General) ?

Also, 30 mins each is good. 4 of us will make it a 2 hour mixset.. good stuff

Ellissentials

Ok working on this now this morning... trying to get tracks together etc. I'm thinking I'll start with some Tech / Prog House.... OR I'll start with some more uppidy House (more percs, more vocal etc)

Would like any opinions of Haus, Rek and G-sep. Figure make this as quality of a collab as possible :D

Up to you, but if you want to go more upidy, i'll start off with some funky tech and you can take from there. If not, start tech/prog and Hau5 will end with the same.

Seems he'd like to end Tribal / Prog, and you would do Funky Tech, so I'll start with House / Tech of some sort.

Do what you like, man - whatever's clever. It'll all work out. :music::D

Digging through, it looks like I'll be starting with some older (2011/10) Tech House.

Oh right Tribal & proggy. I got one of the 2 right :teef: But that sounds good.

Whats the order?

Ellis > Rek > G-Sep > Hau5?

Ellissentials

Ellis > Rek > G-Sep > Hau5?

That it is. :) Sorting now.

Rek, I'll PM you the link for this first bit. I left the last track fully untouched and let it mix out.

Hopefully you all know how to stitch well. I suggest finding a point to record, recording then if you're not familiar with how to stitch well and maintain levels, pass that back to me. Just offering that in case one of you 4 aren't fully familiar with the process.

I use Sony Acid for my splice edits. Easiest program to use for that.

Ellissentials
02-02-2012, 02:09 PM
I use Sound Forge 10, used to use Audacity.

Ellissentials
02-02-2012, 02:10 PM
@Rek:
You've got mail!

Rek_Aviles
02-02-2012, 03:49 PM
used to use Audacity.

Freakin hate that program :argh:

Sound Forge is solid too.. Way more features compared to Acid, though I never tried Acid Pro, as i'm using Acid music studio, to be more specific.

You're quick meng!! Won't be able to record my set today, but hopefully by Sat.

Ellissentials
02-02-2012, 03:58 PM
Please let me know what you think of it when you can.

First program I ever used for anything really was Sonic Foundry Acid Pro 2.0 :D I absolutely love Sound Forge for editing of all sorts, and yes, Audacity pisses me off too. But the current version has quite a lot of decent features, and for a free program it's quite decent. (Now)

g-sep
02-02-2012, 04:15 PM
It's gonna be Audacity for me.

Oh, I'm guessing save the tracklist for future reference and when we publish it we can list what who played?

Ellissentials
02-02-2012, 04:24 PM
Save a tracklist yes :D

@G-sep: Check your FB message I just sent.

Ellissentials
02-09-2012, 07:12 AM
Alright, all stitched together and sounds excellent so far

I suggest that you, Gsep, find a recording point... play the track just before the "stitch" point so I have room to grab a stitch point... record yours, then hand that to ME. Instead of constantly dishing around this large file. I'll stitch yours into the main mix, then hand off to Haus.

Uploading now and sending your a PM Gsep.
