Please do the following test for me and follow the steps exactly as they are given here. It'll only take you a couple of minutes, but it will really help me out.

1. Download and install MP3Tag if you don't have it already. It's free: -

http://www.mp3tag.de/en/download.html

2. Download this test MP3 file: -

http://www.sigmamixes.com/misc/A1 - Biters In The City (Vocal).mp3

3. Add the file to your Traktor library, right click on it and choose "Analyze (Async)". Set the BPM range to 78-155. Tick the box next to "Set beatgrid". Make sure the box next to "Replace existing Gain" is NOT ticked. Then hit OK to analyse the file. Once that's done, close Traktor.

4. Open the MP3 file with MP3Tag. Look on the left hand said underneath where it says "Track:". Does it show a track number there, or is it blank?

Thanks a lot to anyone that does this. I'll give you some rep by way of thanks.

I don't have Traktor on a PC with Windows 7. I have it on Windows XP.

Here's what I found:

* Downloaded the MP3 to my Windows 7 desktop. Windows 7 reports that the # (assumably track #) is 0.
* When I copied to my Windows XP laptop via USB flashdrive, Windows XP reports the track number as 0.
* When I import into the Traktor v2.5.1 collection, the track # is blank (null).
* When I look at the track info in Windows XP, the track # is blank.
