Well, Not quite...

But it looks PRETTY SWEET nevertheless!! And gives of a similar effect, that is obviously much "safer."
I could see this selling pretty simply for that reason.

HAHAHAHA oh man that video was cheesy as all hell (but arent they all?) this would work great for behind the dj booth or stage front in multiples (min of 2) nifty idea, thinking it will be priced higher than what you'd want to pay for this kind of light/effect

Pretty cool idea! I would guess these are going to cost at minimum $400. Unfortunately you wouldn't use them for more than a few minutes per night.

You can do the same thing with a PVC pipe and a LED can. Or a metal cage with a fan and smoke machine in it.

These things don't look like pyro at all. Looks like they are trying more to imitate a cryogenic blast system. Owning and using cryo jets, I can tell you that these look nothing like that either. (at least from the video)

Just remember they are cool (in opinion) for what they are, but you most likely will not get the effect that a propane jet or cryo jet with light will give you. They are much cheaper and easier than the "real" FX alternatives... MAP is 399.99 from what I understand.

Nick I originally wanted to buy a jet system to either put on the corners of the dance floor or on the sides of the doors where the bride/groom or sweet 16 girl were entering for an added effect but I'm worried the venue will have a fit lol. These looked like they would provide that effect without having to be yelled at. What do you think? I'd looooove to get a jet system to do the same if I had no issues with venues

When I bring out the cryo jet system I need:

Nozzles, hosing, solenoids, electrical cable, firing system, mounting hardware, 2 co2 tanks per jet, (about 150 lbs each), and custom made carts to truck the tanks.

It IS an operation- especially for a mobile DJ. And its really expensive. Ballpark $1,000 per jet, plus controller, plus CO2 tanks, plus the carts which are a few hundred a piece. You'll also need to apply (and get cleared for) an account with Airgas to get the liquid CO2. A 50lb (around 150lb full) tank will give you ballpark 60-90 seconds of jet per nozzle. I usually take 2 tanks per jet for moderate use.

You also need a truck with a lift, or trailer with ramp. Its a huge PITA to lift tanks into a van. And you need E-track or some type of way to secure the tanks in transport.

In terms of venues having issues- I'd always clear that with them beforehand. Wedding venues always get nervous as hell when they see you rolling in dewars tanks... like, real nervous.

Hahahahaha I'm sure they would be. Yea that sounds like it would take way too much time for me to setup. Especially if I'm already doing a full setup with uplighting and the photo booth.

I really like the sparkler fountains too but that will never happen. At 400 for the geyser I'm not even going to think about it. For the 1600 I'd spend I'd really look at better alternatives so my money will be better spent. Although I do like the concept

I love using cryo systems, but you need to be careful when you use them. You need enough roof clearance and in small rooms they can be LOUD.

It's great for lighting bands too. Check out this photo of Geyser RGB in action. This is a photo of the main stage taken at the 2012 DJ Expo http://www.facebook.com/chauvetlighting#!/photo.php?fbid=10151031308178873&set=a.10151025471438873.428212.92519653872&type=1&theater
