Hello djforums!
I'm not as new as many of the other people here because I'm starting with a half-year's worth of practice on Virtual DJ. I have specific requirements that I've come to terms with after deciding on my own style of djing.
I'm looking for the best Virtual DJ controller that is under $300 (can be used or refurbished) which has a dedicated effects area and comprehensive cueing. I want a controller that's well built, works well, and is the best worth for its money. I don't think I'll be scratching because my style is more cue point mixing and live mashing.
I was looking at a refurbished Novation Twitch, but I was reading that since it was USB powered that the master output isn't as loud as it could be. How big can the event be until this is considered a serious problem?
My two other options are the MixVibes U-Mix Pro, the soon to be released Behringer CMD Studio 4A, or my friend's used Hercules DJ 4Set (He is willing to sell this to me for $170). Out of the 4 I listed here, which one would best suit my needs, and which one is the best choice?
If there is a better choice out there, what is it?
Thanks for your time if you read all of this! I'm looking forward to your responses :)
