So I know somethings about computers, but not the best things. Would this Acer be able to run VDP?

Don't mean to sound like a dick but the same way u researched your computers specs..you could get the info you're looking for from the virutal dj site. This is straight from the site :
PC System Requirements

MINIMUM system requirements:

Intel® Pentium® 4 or AMD Athlon™ XP
1024x768 resolution
DirectX compatible soundcard
512MB RAM
50MB free on the hard drive

RECOMENDED system requirements:

Intel® Core™ 2 or AMD Athlon™ X2
1280x1024 resolution
Multi-channel DirectX compatible soundcard
1024MB RAM
200MB free on the hard drive

Additional requirements for Video mixing:

2048MB (2GB) RAM
ATI™ or NVIDIA® video card w/256MB of Dedicated DDR3 RAM
Video card must support dual-screen output

Supported Operating System:

MINIMUM: Microsoft® Windows XP SP3 or newer
RECOMMENDED: Microsoft® Windows 7 Professional 32-bit

Nolimitz, I kinda figured that. It's just that I don't know much about computer processors.

To answer your question... I am a VDJ user and that laptop will run the program if you are doing only audio. If you plan on doing video you will need a laptop with a discrete video card with at least 500 megs of video ram.

Thanks Drinc, I plan on using it only for VDJ and FL Studio.

your laptop should run it without issue..just set the latency high in the vdj settings..i have used vdj at varies gigs with a dual core laptop with just 2gb of ram without any issues..should work ok with music videos also..

Thank you so much for the help guys, I just am a 16 year old kid with a tight budget and need to buy a laptop.
