Hey,
I recently bought Massive and while I have been following Youtube tutorials, I came across this site and have been thinking about paying the cheap $37 for the beginner course.
I think it would be worth it to learn every little bit there is to Massive since it is such a useful/powerful synth.
That being said....HAS anyone bought this course? Yay or nay?

thanks

I bought it awhile back when it had a sale(was like 9 bux) and watched the series.. It's not bad at all man.

You can learn it all just by practice and watching youtube though.

So, I mean, after watching it, would you say it saved a hefty amount of time, versus the you tube tutorials/trial-error method?

I ask this because when I watch the youtube tutorials on how to build synths and stuff, I don't always get why they do something and how come the sound evolves a certain way. I understand the basic things like what a filter does, ADSR, etc but when it comes to like "routing the LFO to modulate filter 2 with a sine wave to change osc 3's amplitude, then automating the Low shelf on the reverb to get a blah blah blah blah blahhh" ....I get really lost.
I am reading the built in Massive Manual and learning a good deal from there but if this video series sped things up for you, I would be interested....
(PS, how much do I gotta pay you to send me some bootleg copies of the vid series?;))

37 is a lot for videos on a single synth, I would get a book instead.
