A lot more like it mate, we're not here to stick our noses up at you, we want you to appreciate and love our music the way we do, techno is not genre music like the rest of EDM so often is, it's a music of innovation, it has trends and fads, sure, but there's always someone out there trying something new and we respect that, but we also acknowledge our roots, that's why we respect and support Detroit. It's a shame that the old techno tracks post from V1 isn't here anymore as three were 100's of tracks of all types of techno, plenty of shit that would surprise you in the variety there was. Techno ca nbang like a shithouse door in a hurricane our stir deep emotions within you, it's such a broad church and has such a heritage.

I'm recommending Juno to you because for all it's faults it supports all formats , CDs, Vinyl, Digital, juno does it all, plus there is quality control there, beatport are only interested in supporting their own artists interests and it's literally wading through a sea of shit there, their#1 priority is getting money for nothing, I could give you aload of reasons to boycott the place but I just don' t have the time at the mo., but seriously stay away, they fuck everybody over, you the punter as well as everyone else but themselves. I went to eye-bee-tha once only in 92, the only good night we went to was seeing Grooverider and Fabio who to be frank were playing every night pretty much in the UK at the time. Shit sound systems and rip off prices galore even back 20 years ago. As for Space supporting Techno, i'm sure i remember the gangster who runs the place pulling the plug on Laurent Garnier for playing 'that techno shit' in his club some years ago. Just because they have Sven Vath et all are playing there now is only because Trance music died on it's arse and house ran out of ideas years ago and they need the punters. Ibiza has NOTHING to do with techno and never will. Interesting - yeah Delroy's stuff is pretty fast but I find with the diversity of house and techno now it's not too big an issue, and it still sounds good pitched down as well. I love that I can go from 110 to 135 bpm in a set now while keeping within house, techno and garage/bass, can't really picture doing that a few years ago.

i love the faster stuff (135 and up). just gives it that little edge. usually sorts out the dancefloor and leaves the ones that are willing to get down and sweaty :D i know hydraulix. got some good stuff from there.
