So... Is this possible for regular audio routing between a mixer and amp? I would love to be able to not worry about cables anymore :haha:

At home i dont like being able to see cables for my home setup and this would help out a lot. Anyone know of a brand name for a decent quality transmitter?

Heads up on that Vocopro unit.. sometimes, doing things the old fashioned way with cables is still the better method to take. These wireless units tend to have major transmission problems within the first couple years of use. And, they're overall response and even battery life in the recievers play such a huge part on the theory of "line of site". These packs definitely should be placed to where they can "see" the transmitter, otherwise, be prepared for signal loss and dead batteries quick. I would stay away from them in a professional gig setting, but hey, you did say it's for home use so it may not be all that big of an issue. Most likely they would work okay for ya... Just keep in mind, for best quality, they probably won't be as "hidden" as you'd like. Save a bit of cash too man.. MSRP on those things goes for over $500! Eh... retail more like 400 (ish). AMS had em not too long ago for I think about 380. www.americanmusical.com

I saw the Alto Stealth at Infocomm this year and it is very impressive and for the price is awesome. My only concern with it is that the receivers are not diversity. I would feel a little uncomfortable using them at relatively long distances say more than 200' line of sight. If they made a diversity receiver, It would be perfect.
