Hey DJF,
so last night I got to play with a Pioneer DJM-900NX, and it was hella fun!!!
So I started to look through the market for a mixer again :(
I'm not entirely sure I would need anything more than a 2-channel mixer, at least not at the level I'm at now (noob).
But what I AM looking for in a mixer:
- built in sound card
- built in effects (I'd rather have a few SOLID ones, over 16 crappy ones or whatever)
- solid build.

My "I'm too broke for these mixers/they're probably too advanced for me" mixers are:
-Rane 57/62/68
-Pioneer DJM-900NX (now lol)

I really want a solid mixer to go with the 1200's that I bought and have just been sitting for past ...two or three years now :(
I also plan to go Serato, I already have 2 Serato time code vinyl, I've just been playing with my Vestax Typhoon for the time being.

Anyways, I started looking for fairly cheap ones, and so far I've seen the Denon-X600 which doesn't look too bad and I think I could keep it as a back up if I get any other baller mixer lol.

Music that I play:
-hip-hop
-breaks
-house
-progressive
-starting to get into dnb
-dubstep

So are there any recommendations, for or against the Denon-X600? or recommendations for anything better for my dollar, etc. ?

Thanks!

I've heard good things about the Denon. Most mixers won't have a built in sound card unless you plan on paying $1k+

I haven't used any of these mixers, but Skratchworx is where I go to if I want a reliable review on equipment. Check out Gizmo's reviews on these mixers.
